Akathist to the Venerable Mother Paraskeva
In our holy temple, we served the akathist to the Venerable Mother Paraskeva on the solemn reception of her Riza.
With the blessing of His Eminence, Bishop of Canada Mr. Mitrofan, the akathists served: Father Vasilije Gavrilović from Los Angeles (diocese of Western America), Father Jovica Ćetković from Windsor, Father Milorad Delić from Niagara and Father Duško Marković, parish priest.
In this wonderful evening of prayer, singing songs to the Venerable Mother Paraskevi, we prayed for health to the sick, comfort to the bereaved, peace in the world, mutual harmony and love. And finally, for the repose of the souls of all those who have passed away before, may God grant them the Paradise settlement.
